Locks that are used on a regular basis can become worn over time which can cause keys to jam. Once jammed up, it can become a struggle to open the lock as easily as it used to be. Torquing the key too much can put too much strain on the key and sometimes they break off in the lock. Southern Maine Locks has the ability remove the broken part of the key from the lock, replace the lock and create a new key to bring your locks and keys back into working order.
